The free HEXACO personality test is an evolution of the Big Five. He adds the "honesty-humility" dimension to neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and openness. Each of these dimensions is broken down into four facets:
- Honesty-humility (sincerity, fairness, avoidance of greed, modesty)
- Emotion (apprehension, anxiety, dependence, sensitivity)
- Extraversion (social self-esteem, social boldness, sociability, vitality)
- Pleasantness (indulgence, kindness, flexibility, patience)
- Conscientiousness (organization, diligence, perfectionism, prudence)
- Openness (taste for aesthetics, curiosity, creativity, non-conformity)
The test consists of 60 questions and lasts around 12 minutes.

Very interesting test
First of all, I'd like to say a big thank you to those who put this test online free of charge, unlike those who jealously guard the MBTI and thus "confiscate" Gustav Yung's earlier work. My first impression is that I'm a bit lost when it comes to all these facets of personality, as if I had pieces of myself scattered all over the floor without being able to piece together the puzzle and discover who I am. It must take time to digest the information. Then, I'm struck by my extreme scores (low or high) in certain areas. This gives me directions to try to put some water in my wine and move towards the middle way.
