The Eysenck Personality Test (EPI)

THE personality test d'Eysenck measures two major structuring and independent dimensions of personality: extraversion-introversion and neuroticism-stability. Neuroticism being the fancy word to describe emotional instability. The personality test d'Eysenck contains 57 items to which you must answer yes or no.

When you fill out the test of personality d'Eysenck (EPI), you get three scores:

  • THE "social desirability outcome" which is out of 9. In psychology, social desirability is the bias of wanting to present oneself in a favorable light to one's interlocutors. People who score 5 or higher on this scale are probably trying to present themselves in the best light and are not being completely honest in their answers (and therefore with themselves)
  • The result of “E” is out of 24 and measures your degree of extraversion
  • The result of “N” is out of 24 and measures your degree of neuroticism

Also note that the personality test Eysenck's is a very simplistic test of the personality measurement scale. So if the results you find after this test do not match what you thought about your personality before the test, you are probably right and the test is probably wrong!

Eysenck: no right or wrong answer!

The transfer of the personality test d'Eysenck should not take more than a few minutes. Be sure not to omit any questions. There are no right or wrong answers, and this is not a test of intelligence or ability, but simply a measure of how you behave.

Here are some questions about how you behave, feel, and act. Each question has boxes to answer YES or NO. Try to decide whether YES or NO represents your usual way of acting or feeling, then check the box labeled YES or NO. Work quickly and don't spend too much time on all the questions. 4. very interesting test, although my answers were somewhere in between (15/24 and 12/24), with a social desirability of 2/9.

I am sanguine (I am especially confused by this “designation”).

Thanks to the creator of the test. I already had a hint of my personality, he revealed it as expected.
    This is really interesting.

  6. Melancholic: This is a term I would never have thought of for myself. But I like this pretty word. Thanks for your test
