5 a.m.: When fatigue gives way to gratitude

Five in the morning. I wake up, tired and grumpy. Why the hell did I decide to get up so early? Oh yes, that's right, I have a shareholders' meeting today, far from home. I would have preferred to sleep a little more.

As I sip my coffee, I start to reflect on my life. I have worked hard to save and invest in businesses that are important to me. I realize that I am actually very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in this assembly.

Looking out the window, I see people already on their way to work. I smile inwardly as I think about how wonderful it is to escape this daily routine, to be able to live my life on my own terms and dedicate my time to projects that inspire me.

I am grateful to have the freedom to do what I want, when I want.

I finished my coffee. I now have a new perspective on this day. I have positive energy and I am grateful for everything I have accomplished. I know I am very lucky to be where I am today.
