Hibernate in Peace

January sinks into darkness,
Giving way to the cold, which settles in tenaciously.
The freezing mornings, when the silence is broken
By the neighbor's squeegee, who is clearing his SUV.

A sudden awakening, which brings me back to thoughts,
From the Rat Race, where everything seemed more complicated.
A smile plays on my amused lips,
And I fall back into the arms of Morpheus.

After running for all these years,
My dreams have finally come true.
Me in bed, my neighbor in the mirror,
A peaceful scene where everyone is in their place.

I admit to you, however, that with teleworking (without children) or my little anecdotal trips to the city center by metro, honestly, work is less painful than before! Ice cream: I don't know! 😛
