The Ascension Day holiday is already over and I can imagine the crestfallen faces of some people this morning. Out of four days of leave, they have sacrificed at least one on the road. I wonder what pleasure it can take to crowd together as a family in a 4x4 for hours, before cramming back in with thousands of other transhumant rats a little further, to the South.
The good resolutions made under the Covidian air seem far behind. Not to mention the ecological repercussions of this type of perfectly sterile migration.
And here we are, this morning, we have to go back to work, with our heads up our asses, and take the phones of impatient customers, who are also tired. We find ourselves with our colleagues at the coffee machine... "It's a change from the 1 euro coffee in Italy". "Ah, you've been there too?" "Yes, but just one day, the rest of the time, I was in Lugano". "Lugano? The boss was there too, you could have met him, lol". No joke. Long live originality.
And in a month, we start again!
Working 47 weeks to get 5 weeks of vacation and a few bank holidays, during which you don't even have time to take a breath... That's not exactly the stuff of dreams.

Good evening Jerome,
What a horrific sight!
For me, what I find the saddest is that many people think that the rat race is the only solution and that it's the only thing in life.
As for those who are successful, he thinks it is just luck, or that they won the lottery or received an inheritance.
At the same time, their parents, friends and acquaintances generally think this way and we end up thinking like them, by hanging out with them and listening to them.
Personally, when people around me talk to me about wealth or reaching multimillionaires, they always think of the lottery or inheritances... for them, no other means exists.
Wishing you a great evening!
