I am always amazed by the guys who work until the end. They line up the last years, until 65 years old and it even seems sometimes that they do not want to let go. Some of them prolong the "pleasure" for a few more years. Frankly, and this is not 2nd degree, I admire them.
To imagine that one can work like this, from one's post-adolescence, until the beginning of one's 3rd age, deserves a big round of applause. Getting up nearly 10,000 times, early in the morning, sometimes in the rain, snow or cold, often to face criticism from one's superiors or customers, and all while always keeping a smile on one's face... that's the work of a hero.
Personally, I am not capable of it. I estimate that I will only go halfway. For the rest, I have gained a little time upstream, thanks to studies (thanks parents) and above all I will benefit from a very early retirement (thanks myself).
So, of course, not all jobs are comparable. Mine certainly has something to do with it and wore me out well before it was due. But that doesn't explain everything, because I see a lot of people around me with frankly difficult jobs who go all the way. Once again, congratulations to them.
I think it's mostly a question of personality. There are people who are made to work, there are even some who like it. As for me, I can't stand having to answer to others. It's stronger than me. And it's most certainly due to the fact that I am a INTJ.
Ladies and gentlemen workers, you have all my respect. For that reason alone, I will not benefit from unemployment, disability insurance or any other social assistance. I will pay for my freedom myself.
