I saw that the payout ratio was 105% which is huge, and I also think I read in an article that this is due to a special tax treatment. Could you give me more details on this point?
Also the PER is 21.3 (www.investing.com), doesn't that seem a bit expensive to you?

The distribution ratio and the PER cannot be used to judge the valuation of REITs.

FFO is more relevant for REITs.

Very good choice with HCP in my opinion, its history speaks for itself, and the confidence is much greater than in recent REITs, the ARCP case this week brought us back to reality.
