Good evening Jerome,
When I look at the performance of your portfolio since February 2010, I remain quite admiring. It has performed very well compared to stock market indices.
Have you tried backtesting the portfolio over longer periods?
Otherwise, it would be interesting to represent the evolution of the share. This would allow us to illustrate how the portfolio behaves during crises or during significant changes in exchange rates...
Looking forward to reading you.
I have not backtested my strategy but the chart located on This item gives a good idea of the performance of growing dividends.
The portfolio performed well for two reasons:
– the majority of stocks are defensive in nature and therefore performed well during the 2011 crisis
– the dollar has evolved favorably for several months, and in addition, and here I speak for those whose reference currency is the CHF, the Swiss National Bank has given a real helping hand by setting a floor rate with the euro at 1.20 CHF
For the future, I expect to be caught up by the indices, when the economic recovery is here. But I am not going to change my mind, I am remaining cautious, I am letting the masses go ahead, while waiting for the next crisis.
I also had the idea of representing this evolution, but it requires a fair amount of work. It will perhaps be for a next step. What I can say is that it is done gradually, without too many jolts, helped by the low volatility and the dividends.
Good morning,
I just discovered your site, do the 16 euros per year that you are asking for allow anyone to access your portfolio and if so, which broker do you recommend to acquire these shares?
Hello Nicolas, yes you have access to my portfolio and especially to the indicators and the rating, as well as to all the tools
which broker, if you are Swiss I advise you to read this topic on the forum: http://www.dividendes.ch/forum-2/dividendes/frais-de-courtage/
