A little update on my purchases over time:

      40 MO 08 2014
      23 CVX 11 2014
      13 IFCN 01 2015
      10 NOTHING 04 2015
      59 EMR 08 2015
      11 IBM 01 2016
      110 UBS 04 2016

Yes UBS is not a grower but they have a huge dividend increase which almost allows me to pay the monthly UBS fees 😉

      Dividends of
      6.07% on the $
      5.22% on the CAD
      7.42% on the CHF

      There you go 🙂

              Also account in EUR, USD

At Swissquote my account is in CHF only which means that I suffer an exchange rate effect with each purchase AND sale of foreign shares, thus increasing my exchange rate risk. At Tradedirect, I have a multi-currency account which allows me to keep the currency when I sell a share or when I transfer from CHF to USD/EUR.

Excellent comparison, thank you very much!

However, at Swissquote it is possible to have EUR and USD in your account, this even comes automatically into the USD sub-account when selling positions.

In any case, on my account, I just have to buy USD by clicking on buy and the amount is debited from my CHF account.

I can then use this amount to make transactions in greenbacks.

Purchase of 40 MCD shares, it seems to me to be one of the rare shares not too expensive on this slightly overvalued market.

Superb painting indeed and excellent answers as always on this forum :)

I hadn't actually thought about PostFinance at all, which actually seems better "for retirement".

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Personally, it will be the day when I manage to obtain a viable salary (for my part) directly in dividends.

I suppose that's what you call an annuity?

Purchase of 31 Swiss shares La Foncière (FOC).

It’s a real estate investment fund that I’ve been eyeing for a long time.

2.4% dividends, constant dividend increase since 1994.

The stock market price is also increasing slightly every year.

This seems to me to be a good baby that needs to be left to grow in a corner!

Indeed 7.50 CHF back to school on 17.04 Really a good deal, but I doubt that this will be the case again in a year.

For the 35% of Swiss withholding taxes, I find it interesting to be able to recover this from the tax office. That always means less to pay out later.

Why this “forced” sale of HNZ? Knowing Buffet, dividends will continue to flow and increase?
