Well, I just tested the new E-Trading interface from Postfinance…
not very shiny. It was already not great before, I was hoping for an improvement but the least we can say is that there is still work to be done.First I receive a lot of securities transfer notices on the same day, certainly due to the fact that we are switching to Swissquote…? Then I tell myself that I am going to download them all at the same time… uh… where is the option? Apparently not there. So you have to go through all the documents one by one… Worse, the documents already read do not disappear as soon as you have opened them. You have to activate the option that hides the files already read, then reapply the filter which reloads the page and makes the documents already read disappear… Otherwise the whole list of documents remains complete and you do not know what you have already processed or not…
Otherwise, more generally, it's not very fast, it's heavy, loaded... in short, like before. Maybe even worse.
In short, I hope they will quickly correct all this because even if their prices are still quite interesting, this graphic interface is really crap.It took me almost 30 minutes to understand the new interface, read the many documents I had received and to place an order… Not too much fun though…
And have you ever tried?
27 July 2016 at 09:14 #19095Hi Jerome,
I am also with Postfinance e-trading. The new interface is a bit prettier but it does not bring anything interesting. A few gadgets such as short-term trend predictions and a map of the gains/losses of the various markets ("market overview"). They are trying to increase the number of transactions and are thus targeting traders and not investors like us. That is why they added these "fees" of 90 chf per year that we recover from the transaction fees. Previously, we could access a stock analysis comparing various companies in the same sector. Do you know if this is still possible?
In short, from my side I do not see any improvement for the investor. The new condition of "fees" is acceptable, so I am not moving.
28 July 2016 at 05:51 #19096No, I think this functionality is no longer possible because it was linked to the partnership they had with BCV, unless I'm mistaken.
It wouldn't like much anyway either. - AuthorPosts
