      Hello everyone,

      Today is a new step in my adventure with the stock market: Swissquote informed me that I received my first dividends!

      I look at the numbers (not huge, but that's normal since I started recently :) ) and I was surprised by one line.

      In summary, I have the following lines:

      • Amount: gross dividends
      • Withholding tax of 15%
      • Additional Withholding of 15%

      I was expecting withholding tax, but what is this additional withholding of 15%?

      Is it because my stock is in USD?

        This is normal for US stocks.
