Purchase REALTY INCOME REIT (O) @ 38.5

Hello,

 

I'm thinking of buying some "O" tomorrow, I placed an order for 58 pieces at 38.5 which would make a dividend of 5.6% (3.9% if we remove the 30% of withholding taxes).

What do you think? Do you also follow the title?

I think the price drop is related to the rumor about the small dividend increase coming for 2014 for O.

It is true that the dividend growth forecasts are not great for the next few years. The price has corrected well since April, which gives a rather interesting entry point... and then a monthly distribution is always appreciable...

I follow the stock as well, however what is holding me back at the moment is its high volatility, this year in particular. I don't like these sudden and significant rises and falls too much.

Finally my order was executed at 38.1 the title rose by 16% in USD, which makes a capital gain of 13.8% in CHF but that is not the interesting point.
The title pays a monthly and growing dividend, which I find appreciable.
