For several weeks now, I have been feeling a sense of unease about what is happening around me. This feeling began to grow little by little, as the proportion of vaccinated people increased and the pressure on the unvaccinated followed the same path. Until yesterday, I did not really understand what was bothering me. I am fundamentally not anti-vaxxer. I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories either. So I attributed this embarrassment to my independent-mindedness. I thought it was a form of reaction on my part to the increasing pressure from society to get vaccinated. There is certainly a bit of that, but it does not explain everything.
It was during yet another heated discussion about this topic that I finally understood what was fundamentally blocking me. Someone told me something that I had heard several times before, but which this time opened my eyes: "We need to get vaccinated to be able to start living like before, going to the movies, to restaurants, shopping...". In other words, we need to get vaccinated to continue consuming. That says it all.
There Rat Race describes the vicious circle of work and consumption. The more you work, the more you earn, the more you spend, the more you need and the more you have to work. Now, this vicious cycle has been added to the cycle of vaccines and variants: work > vaccine > consumption > variant > work > vaccine... We must rush to get a shot, then another and perhaps more to "regain our freedom". If we are dependent on a vaccine to continue consuming, then we are doubly prisoners. This has nothing to do with freedom. As Seneca said, the poor are not those who have little, but those who always want more.
There remains the question of solidarity, which is also rehashed all day long. The unvaccinated are said to be selfish. These same people who, in order to protect the vulnerable population, while waiting for the vaccine, have, for endless months, worn masks, applied social distancing standards, been confined with their children, cared for and protected their elderly parents, are today considered self-centered.
Now, however, the vulnerable have been able to be vaccinated and most of them have survived thanks to the patience and solidarity of those who are now being portrayed as selfish. The funniest thing about this story is that those most likely to call the unvaccinated selfish are precisely those who got vaccinated for purely individualistic reasons, such as traveling and getting back to their usual daily routine. I have never heard vulnerable people call those who raise questions about vaccination selfish.
Since those at risk have been able to receive their doses and the vaccines are, according to official sources, as effective as that, why then put so much pressure on the rest of society? This blackmail is incomprehensible and unbearable. It unnecessarily and dangerously divides our communities, causing long-term consequences that may be much more significant than the virus itself. There is only the continuation at all costs of the Rat Race which can explain such a phenomenon.
The unvaccinated are being blamed for preventing society from living as it was before. Let's not get the wrong target. They did not create this virus. Nor did they decree the deprivations that followed. Vaccination should not be a condition of our freedom. It is time to wake up and break our chains.

Good morning,
Yes, vaccines are effective. Vaccines are a treatment that protects the person who is vaccinated, but if only a small part of the population is vaccinated, this leaves the virus open to mutating and being able to escape the immune response induced by vaccination in the event of a major mutation. Consequently, if a significant part of the population does not get vaccinated, there is a risk for the entire population, even the vaccinated part, which will no longer be protected.
A little historical reminder: vaccination made it possible to eradicate smallpox; no other treatment has been able to eradicate a disease.
You are free to get vaccinated to consume or to protect your loved ones or just to go for a walk.
Consumerist society existed before the virus, but you won't fight it by not getting vaccinated.
Dear Olivier, You eat propaganda all day long, turn off the TV and turn your brain back on, you are manipulated, lobotomized by the government and the lying media.
If you did a little research, and the real figures are verifiable on official sites, the injection brings the variants, cf a Nobel Prize in medicine and others ..., and the statistical curves on many countries between the start of "vaccinations" show the explosion of cases ... look for the error, so your argument absolutely does not hold water. Facts always facts.
And then unfortunately, those who get bitten are very likely not to live very long because of the "shit" inside!
By the way, do you know what's in it? Spike protein, graphene, nanoparticles...and so on.
I suppose you took your dose... prepare yourself, they will give you one very regularly to see your resistance, because this product is still being tested until 2023... so you are a guinea pig, and the pharmaceutical companies have made the EU sign legal documents stating that they will not be responsible in the event of problems... governments too, so you alone are responsible via your injection if you die from it, become disabled... Maybe we should ask ourselves the question? No?
Here is a long list of deaths due to injection...
https://healthimpactnews.com/2021/comply-with-covid-19-vaccination-demands-and-you-could-end-up-dead-like-these-people/
3 young people ask themselves the right questions:

They gave the injection but as soon as problems arise, the suppliers of the "vaccines" and the government do not respond to the distress of the people:

And then the American oil companies are planning the "replacement" of vaccinated people!!! Ask your HR manager if they have planned your replacement!

The British government has launched a call for tenders for the storage of corpses...for the next 4 years!
And then rest assured, 88% of the world's population are not fully vaccinated, and the current government collaborators, like in 39/45, will end up the same way!

Good luck
Thanks to you but I don't have a TV. Otherwise I'm still waiting for my multiple sclerosis which must trigger the hepatitis B vaccine that I was injected with.
Otherwise, which vaccine contains graphene? I haven't seen it mentioned in the composition of the vaccines.
"Dear Olivier, You eat propaganda all day long, turn off the TV and turn your brain back on, you are manipulated, lobotomized by the government and by the lying media"
Ok... when I read the first sentence I expected the rest and I wasn't disappointed ^^
In short, dear Gil, I think it's up to you to turn on your brain... as you say facts, nothing but facts, but in your entire "demonstration" you don't come up with any, for example: "those who have been bitten are very likely not to live very long", so is it really based on a fact? If that's the case then that's going to make hundreds of millions of deaths at once in the near future... or even billions, basically half of humanity is going to disappear 😀
A little historical reminder, vaccination has never eradicated the flu. A virus that mutates constantly like corona-type viruses. We will never eradicate coronoviruses….
Of course, before writing this, you checked the population's vaccination coverage figures for smallpox and influenza.
The rate was at least 90% (before 66, last epidemic episode dates back to the 50s for France) for smallpox because vaccination was mandatory. The effectiveness rate of the smallpox vaccine had a rate close to the latest Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.
For influenza, this vaccination coverage rate rises to a maximum of 60% (2009-2010). I did not look for the vaccine efficacy rate.
You could also have added measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria (special case) to your list....
Yes, the coronavirus mutates like all bacteria or viruses. We are lucky that it mutates less than the flu.

Vaccination is a preventive treatment that is only effective if it is taken by a majority of the population.

This article was not intended to start yet another quarrel between epidemiologists, but rather to denounce the unhealthy and insistent eagerness of some to make others submit to their vaccination wishes (or to exclude them from certain social activities). As I said in the post, I am neither anti-vaxxer nor a follower of conspiracy theories. I respect the point of view of those who get vaccinated, they have their reasons, which they have carefully considered. I only ask them to do the same for those who have made a different decision, also carefully considered.
Right now, we all need to be humble and admit that we don't know much about this virus. If it mutates quickly enough, then yes, we're going to have to get vaccinated regularly, like we do for the flu (and in this case it only makes sense for people at risk). If it mutates very little, then there's no need to panic, the population will be immunized fairly quickly, either naturally or via the vaccine. In any case, it's time to take a step back, stop panicking unnecessarily and, above all, stop shooting ourselves in the foot!
"I only ask them to do the same for those who have made a different decision."
The problem with this reasoning is that the first decision (getting vaccinated) has no impact on others, while the second decision (not getting vaccinated) has a huge impact on society as a whole.
All this pressure from governments on the vaccine comes only from there... we live in a society, we don't live alone, or if we reject it then we have to go and isolate ourselves in the mountains and not take advantage of it, there indeed not getting vaccinated will have no impact... and no one will force you to do so anyway.
《Since those at risk have been able to receive their doses and the vaccines are, according to official sources, as effective as that, why then put so much pressure on the rest of society?》
I only answered this question, which by its formulation casts doubt on vaccination without foundation. I am willing to acknowledge that we know less about Corona than about the flu or others, but I also want to make you aware that we have more than a century of hindsight on vaccination. We know how it works and what its limits are.
Unfortunately you do not know how mutations can influence the contagiousness and mortality caused by the virus. It is surprising that you say that we should be humble about our current knowledge and not about future consequences.
We are fortunate to have a vaccine that protects us from this virus, which could very well evolve like the flu into a terrible Spanish flu epidemic (which killed more people than the First World War) as well as into an endemic virus such as winter colds.
Are you willing to play Russian roulette with other people's health by not getting vaccinated? If so, what do you think that's called, Jerome?
These are called gratuitous and unfounded accusations. I regret that one cannot raise the shadow of a question in relation to what is happening, without being accused of all the evils. In short, I am closing the debate, since it leads nowhere.
In my family, no big consumption.
We live like bears, deep in the sticks, we meet few people, we don't go to busy places...
We first said to ourselves…we’ll see what happens to the vaccinated.
Then we said to ourselves, why not, but waiting for the French vaccine might be wise. (December 2021, a priori)
Then the law came and we were told, if you want to accompany your daughter to the swimming pool (she is 5 years old, learning to swim), you have to be vaccinated…..
Appointment made for tomorrow…..I too have this growing feeling of unease that gives me the impression of always having to go through the funnel, sooner or later…..a very unpleasant feeling, and I am very happy that some spirits are in the French streets, even if I do not agree with all their arguments….
The guilt-inducing argument that consists of making the unvaccinated bear the responsibility for preventing us from getting out of this health crisis may raise a smile. What about everyone's responsibility in the face of the oft-raised problem of reducing CO2 and air pollution, which causes 9 million deaths worldwide each year? Have the vaccinated traded their SUV for a bicycle out of pure solidarity? Vaccination remains a free and consensual choice, so let's avoid dividing human relationships and cultivate tolerance and communication.
A little memory of Mickey 3D, in 2003. So visionary:
Come closer little one, listen to me kid
I will tell you the story of the human being
At the beginning there was nothing, at the beginning it was good
Nature was advancing, there was no path
Then the man came in with his big shoes
Kicks in the face to gain respect
He began to draw one-way roads
The arrows on the plain have multiplied
And all the elements were mastered
In no time at all, the story was over.
We won't be going back tomorrow
We have even started to pollute the deserts
You need to breathe, and that's an understatement.
You're not going to die laughing, and that's saying something.
In a few years we will have eaten the leaf
And your grandchildren will only have one eye
Right in the middle of the front they will ask you
Why do you have two, you'll look like an idiot?
They will tell you "how could you let this happen?"
You can defend yourself and explain it to them in a whisper.
It's not my fault, it's the fault of the elders
But there will be no one left to wash your hands
You will tell them about the time when you could
Eating fruit in the grass lying in the meadows
There were animals everywhere in the forest
In early spring the birds returned
You need to breathe, and that's an understatement.
You're not going to die laughing, and that's saying something.
You need to breathe, tomorrow is when everything gets worse
You're not going to die laughing, and that's saying something.
The worst part of this story is that we are slaves.
Somewhere a murderer, here quite incapable
To look at trees without feeling guilty
Half defrocked, one hundred percent miserable
So here it is, little one, the story of the human being
It's not pretty, and I don't know the end.
You weren't born in a cabbage but rather in a hole
Which we fill every day like a cesspool
You need to breathe, and that's an understatement.
You're not going to die laughing, and that's saying something.
You need to breathe, tomorrow is when everything gets worse
You're not going to die laughing, and that's an understatement.
You need to breathe
You need to breathe
You need to breathe
You need to breathe
Isn't it surprising to castigate those who consume when you have a blog called the dividend?
Exactly 🙂
